This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on Lab45's exam preparation platform ("Service"). Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Overview

We offer digital educational content (mock exams and practice questions) for immediate online access. Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are subject to specific conditions outlined below.

2. No Refund After Access

Once you access any part of the purchased digital content, NO REFUNDS will be issued.

2.1 What Counts as "Access"

This includes:

  • Starting an exam
  • Viewing questions
  • Downloading materials
  • Accessing solutions or explanations

2.2 Legal Basis (UK/EU)

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations and EU Directive 2011/83/EU:

  • You have a 14-day cancellation right for online purchases
  • This right is waived when you access digital content with your express consent
  • By clicking "Purchase" and immediately accessing content, you explicitly agree to waive this right

2.3 Clear Acknowledgment

During checkout, you will see a clear notice:

"By purchasing and accessing this content, I acknowledge that I waive my right to the 14-day cancellation period as the digital content will be available immediately."

3. Refund Before Access

You MAY receive a full refund if you have NOT accessed any purchased content.

3.1 Eligibility

You may receive a full refund if:

  • You have NOT accessed any purchased content
  • You request within 14 days of purchase (UK/EU law)
  • You request within 7 days of purchase (our policy for non-EU)

3.2 How to Request

  • Your registered email address
  • Order/transaction ID
  • Reason for refund (optional but appreciated)

3.3 Processing

  • Refund requests reviewed within 2 business days
  • Approved refunds processed within 5-10 business days
  • Refunds issued to original payment method
  • You will receive confirmation email

4. Exceptions: Refunds for Faulty Content

4.1 When Refunds May Be Granted After Access

Under UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a refund within 30 days if digital content is:

Faulty

Contains significant errors preventing use

Not as Described

Materially different from our description

Technically Defective

Unable to access due to platform issues

4.2 What Constitutes "Faulty"

✓ Valid Faulty Content Claims:

  • • Content cannot be accessed due to technical errors on our end
  • • Exam questions are blank or corrupted
  • • Solutions or explanations are missing entirely
  • • Platform crashes prevent exam completion

✗ NOT Considered "Faulty":

  • • You find the questions too difficult or too easy
  • • You disagree with our answers or explanations
  • • You are unsatisfied with your exam score
  • • You didn't prepare adequately
  • • Your device or internet connection has issues
  • • You change your mind about needing the product

4.3 Remedy Process

If you believe content is faulty:

5. Bundle Purchases

5.1 No Partial Refunds

  • • Bundle purchases (multiple sets) cannot be partially refunded
  • • If you access ANY part of the bundle, NO refund is available
  • • Refund requests must be made BEFORE accessing any content

5.2 Individual Set Refunds

If you purchase sets separately, each purchase has its own refund terms. Refund for one set does not affect access to other purchased sets.

6. Free Content and Admin Grants

6.1 Set 1 (Free Content)

Set 1 is provided free to all users. No refund applicable (no payment made).

6.2 Manual Admin Grants

Access granted manually by administrators (at $0.00). No payment made = no refund applicable. Access may be revoked at admin discretion.

7. Payment Processing Issues

7.1 Duplicate Charges

If you are charged multiple times for the same purchase:

  • Contact us immediately at support@lab45.education
  • Provide transaction IDs
  • We will investigate and refund duplicate charges within 5-10 business days

7.2 Unauthorized Charges

If you notice unauthorized charges, contact us immediately and file a dispute with your bank or DodoPayments. We will cooperate with investigations. Access may be revoked pending investigation.

8.2 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to original payment method only. We cannot refund to different cards or methods. For payment issues, contact your bank.

9. Chargeback Policy

Before filing a chargeback with your bank, please contact us at refunds@lab45.education.

Most issues can be resolved quickly. Chargebacks take weeks and incur fees for both parties.

9.1 Consequences of Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback:

  • Your account will be suspended immediately pending investigation
  • If chargeback is upheld, your account will be permanently terminated
  • If chargeback is illegitimate, you may be banned from future purchases
  • We reserve the right to pursue collection of fees

10. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be issued if:

  • ✗ You accessed the content (unless faulty)
  • ✗ You are outside the 14-day window (unless faulty)
  • ✗ You simply changed your mind after accessing content
  • ✗ You found questions difficult or didn't perform well
  • ✗ You purchased the wrong product but already accessed it
  • ✗ You violated our Terms of Service
  • ✗ You filed a fraudulent chargeback

11. Regional Variations

11.1 UK Consumers

Protected under Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • 14-day cancellation right (waived upon access)
  • 30-day right to refund for faulty digital content
  • 6-month extended protection if fault cannot be fixed

11.2 EU Consumers
